CRESTLINE — With perhaps the best season in the area, Crestline’s Maddie Engler picked up first-team honors in Division IV’s Northwest District.

BUCYRUS — The Crawford County Land Reutilization Corporation, also known as the Crawford County Land Bank, met and officially awarded bids on May 25 for building demolitions for the Norton Bicentennial Park project in Bucyrus and the East School project in Galion. Demolitions are expected to begin after June 15 and to be completed within nine months.
COLUMBUS — Area athletes left their mark at the OHSAA State Track and Field Championships last week. Colonel Crawford saw athletes climb the podium at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium on the Ohio State University’s campus. Athletes from all around the state battled the tough heat at the biggest stage.
COLUMBUS — Galion sent multiple athletes to the Division II state meet in Columbus just a few days ago. The Tigers came away with a relay team reaching the podium, as well as an individual.
Patrons who walk into the dining area of Mi Cerrito’s new location in Galion will see a mural on the wall and immediately feel the vibe of the spot. The second local location and the third overall spot has a Day of the Dead theme or Dia de los Muertos in Spanish.
