Ohio Supreme Court justice candidate speaks at event


Ohio Supreme Court justice candidate Terri Jamison spoke to 25 Democrats at the Cardington Café March 8. Jamison told about her 11 years of experience as a judge; first being elected to the Franklin Court of Common Pleas in 2012 and elected to the 10th District Court of Appeals in 2020.

Three Tigers place in state tournament


COLUMBUS, Ohio —Three Galion wrestlers traveled to the Schottenstein Center on the campus of The Ohio State University over the weekend and returned state placers.

GCT honored as public health partner


The Galion Community Theatre (GCT) was recently selected by the Crawford County Board of Health as the 2023 Public Health Partner of the Year. The board annually reviews collaborative activities Crawford County Public Health conducted with community partners during the previous calendar year to select a Public Health Partner of the Year.

Fullen honored for musical talents


Galion City Schools is thrilled to spotlight the outstanding accomplishments of Cameron Fullen, a ninth-grade tuba player in the Galion High School band. This fall, Fullen earned the opportunity to participate in the Bowling Green State University’s High School Honor Band.
