Pioneer selected for CTE Expansion Grant

0

SHELBY — Pioneer Career & Technology Center is proud to have been selected as a recipient of Governor DeWine and the General Assembly’s Career-Technical Education Expansion Grant. Pioneer is one of 35 Career-Technical Planning Districts in Ohio to receive a portion of the 200 million dollars that were a part of Ohio’s recently passed budget bill. Pioneer will receive 6.6 million dollars to create an Advanced Manufacturing Center and add additional programming on its Shelby campus.

Miller approved as MOESC finance director

The Mid-Ohio Educational Service Center (MOESC) Board of Governors voted at its meeting on Wednesday, Nov. 15, to approve a contract with Brenda Miller to hire her as executive director of finance and CFO/treasurer. The Board of Governors approved a seven-month contract for Miller as executive director of finance from Jan. 1, 2024, through July 31, 2024, where she will work with outgoing MOESC Treasurer Lorraine Earnest to learn the new position.
