Galion Community Clean Up Day May 21
Community Clean Up Day will be held 8 a.m. – Noon at 2 locations: the parking lot across from the fire department (enter from South Liberty St.) and Willig Tire, 353 South St. (accepting tires, no rims). Accepted itmes at location 1 include household trash, small furniture, mattress and box springs, electronics including small kitchen appliances, computers, cell phones, printers. Items NOT accepted are televisions, paint, hazardous waste, construction waste, yard waste/organic material.
Depot Day Galion May 21
Depot Day at the Big Four Depot is an opportunity to take a tour, talk to railroad enthusiasts, and enjoy music, displays and much more. The event, hosted by the Friends of the Big Four, is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Composting May 21, 22
The Taylor Road composting facility open.Yard waste, including limbs, brush, grass clippings and leaves, will be accepted free of charge to City of Galion and Polk Township residents. Chemically treated wood, such as deck material and railroad ties, stones and concrete are not accepted.The facility is located at 545 Taylor Road in Galion. Hours of operation are 7:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
Computer Class May 24
The Crestline Public Library will conduct an introductory computer class on May 24, 3-4:30 p.m. The class is limited to 6 and sign up is required. Call 419-683-3909 to register.

Board of Election meets May 25
The Crawford County Board of Elections will meet on Wednesday May 25 at 11 a.m. to conduct the Official Count of the May 3, 2022 Primary Election and conduct regular business. The meeting and Official Count will take place in the board office at 112 E. Mansfield St., Bucyrus.
