Galion 45, Ontario 21
GALION — The Galion Tigers welcomed the Ontario Warriors to Unckrich Stadium for week nine football action on a cold, rainy Friday evening.
In the end, it would be the orange and blue picking up the victory in their final home game of the 2018 season, defeating Ontario; 45-21. With the victory, Galion improves to 5-4 overall and 2-4 in the Mid-Ohio Athletic Conference. For the Warriors, they fall to 3-6 overall and 1-5 in league play with the loss.
Week 10 will see the Tigers head to Delaware for a meeting with the Buckeye Valley Barons while Ontario will head to Marion for a meeting with the Pleasant Spartans.
Northmor 34, Centerburg 0
CENTERBURG — Northmor headed to Centerburg on Friday evening looking to remain undefeated and in the hunt for a prime playoff spot.
When the clock reached all zeroes, the Golden Knights emerged with the 34-0 shutout of the hosting Trojans. The black and gold improve to a perfect 9-0 overall and 6-0 within the Knox-Morrow Athletic Conference. Centerburg drops to 4-5 overall and 2-4 in the KMAC.
To wrap the regular season, Northmor will head be on the road at Highland for a meeting atop the KMAC with the Fighting Scots. The winner of the finale will claim the conference title. As for Centerburg, they will end their season on their home field against the visiting Fredericktown Freddies.
Seneca East 39, Colonel Crawford 22
ATTICA — In week nine play, the Colonel Crawford Eagles headed to Attica for a meeting with the hosting Seneca East Tigers.
Crawford would put up a fight but the Tigers would come out on top in the end; 39-22. The Eagles fall to 5-4 overall on the season and 3-3 in Northern-10 Athletic Conference action. Seneca East remains at just one loss on the season at 8-1 overall and 5-1 within the league.
The black and yellow will play host to the Carey Blue Devils in the season finale next Friday while Seneca East heads to New Washington for a clash with the winless Buckeye Central Bucks.
