Galion High School National Honor Society inducts new members


Galion High School held its annual National Honor Society induction ceremony on Monday, Nov. 8.Twelve students were inducted into the Galion National Honor Society. Front row from left to right are Kaya Capretta, Emma VonDerHofen, Lydia McCabe, Emma Maguire, and Sommar Sheriff. Middle row from left to right are Ava Niedermeier, Julia Conner, Hayli Marcum, and Amanda Harvey. Back row from left to right are Hayden Kaple, Gavin Crim, and Jaxon Oehler. These students join current members Kalyn Carroll, Tyler Fraizer, Walker Frankhouse, Matthew Gimbel, Brooke Kelly (President), Kellen Kiser, Regin Kuehlman, Carlie Myers, Ashlee Oris (Vice President), Natalee Perkins, Grayden Pierce, Ava Smith (Treasurer), Zaynah Tate, and Mel Wheeler (Secretary). The National Honor Society was established in 1921 by members of the National Association of Secondary School Principals.
