GALION — The City of Galion has announced that the intersection of Atwood Street and South Liberty Street will be closed on Monday, Nov. 8 for pavement repairs. The intersection will reopen in the late afternoon.

Motorists can take the following detours to avoid the work area:

• Eastbound traffic on Atwood should turn at Columbus Street.

• Westbound traffic on Atwood should turn at South Street.

• Southbound traffic on Liberty Street should turn at Walnut Street.

Access to businesses in the vicinity will be maintained.
