GALION — The Galion Police Department, with the assistance of the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office and the METRICH Drug Task Force, executed a search warrant at 205 Southern Ave., on Wednesday as part of an ongoing drug investigation.
Daniel Donohue, 37, who resides at the residence, was arrested without incidence. He was taken to the Crawford County Jail pending the filing of formal charges by the Crawford County Prosecutor.
Investigating officers seized 23 bindles of heroin, a syringe loaded with suspected heroin and several other drug paraphernalia instruments during the search.
“Outstanding work by our county’s detectives. This was an investigation took several months and again achieved the outcome of removing drugs from the streets of Galion,” stated Galion Police Chief Brian Saterfield.
