The 400-yard freestyle team of Gillam, Tinnermeier, Faulds, and Ferini placed fourth with a season best time of 3:59.70. This team was one place from qualifying for the district meet.

“With a small, young team, I was really proud of how all the swimmers performed in this meet,” coach Ted Temple said. “Sixteen swimmers had personal best times in their events. A coach has to be proud that two-thirds of the team swam personal best times. The entire team showed lots of team spirit supporting each other.”
