CRESTLINE — The Crestline Bulldogs dropped a 47-13 decision to Monroeville on Friday night in the season football opener for the two teams.
The Bulldogs picked up less than 200 yards of total offense.
J.R. Wolfe was 3 of 12 passing for 28 yards, and one touchdown. But he was picked off four times by the Monroeville defense. He threw a 20-yard TD pass to Davon Triplett.
Wolfe was also Crestline’s leading rusher, with 34 yards. But Caleb Moore had the longest run for the Bulldogs, a 33-yard touchdown scamper. Crestline tallied 110 rushing yards in the opener.
