GALION — Katie Ruffener is the Galion Inquirer Athlete of the Week, for the week of April 18. The Colonel Crawford senior had a record-setting day at the Crawford County Track Meet.

Ruffener won each of the 100-meter dash, 100-meter hurdles, 300-meter hurdles, and long jump events.

Out of those events, 12.27 in the 100-meter dash, 13.98 in the 100-meter hurdles, and 44.06 in the 300-meter hurdles — were all good for event records at the Crawford County Track Meet.
