RECRUITING UPDATE

Kareem Walker (Wayne N.J. DePaul Catholic), the No. 1 ranked running back in the 2016 recruiting class, de-committed from Ohio State on Tuesday. He had verbally commited to the Buckeyes in January.

Keyshawn Johnson Jr. (Mission Viejo, Calif.), a 4-star junior wide receiver, listed Ohio State among his top five schools on Twitter. USC, Alabama, Nebraska and Clemson are his other leaders.

Richard LeCounte (Riceboro, Ga.), a 4-star junior athlete, also used Twitter to say OSU is among his top seven schools. Other leaders on his list include Georgia, Auburn, Clemson and Florida.

Fairfield sophomore offensive lineman Jack Carman has recent offers from Michigan and Michigan State, according to a tweet from his coach, Jason Krause. Ohio State reportedly is interested but has not made an offer yet.

Tristen Wallace (Desoto, Texas), a 2016 Ohio State verbal commitment as a quarterback, has thrown for 1,849 yards and rushed for 1,000 yards.

Antonio Williams (New London, N.C.), a 2016 Ohio State verbal commitment as a running back, has rushed for 1,954 yards.
