DANVILLE — The Northmor Lady Golden Knights volleyball team continued their winning ways on Thursday on the road against Knox-Morrow Athletic Conference rival, the Danville Lady Blue Devils.

Northmor took care of the host team in straight sets; 25-19, 25-6 and 25-10. The Knights are now 5-0 overall on the season and 2-0 in the KMAC.

Caitlin Theabeault and Jordyn Zoll had solid serving performances against Danville on Thursday. Theabeault went 19/21 on the serve, earning nine aces in the win. Zoll finished up 19/20 at the service line with three aces.

Offensively, the Golden Knights got their usual contributions on the attack. Anna Donner went 21/22 hitting with 11 total kills. Kelsie Fike and Hope Miracle both recorded six kills apiece and Theabeault chimed in with four kills. Zoll was the primary ball handler for Northmor and notched 16 assists on 49/51 setting. Theabeault had eight assists as well for the visitors in the victory.

Cristianna Boggs wrapped the contest with nine digs, Donner added eight and Aly Blunk provided seven on the evening. Miracle and Donner created a wall at the net to prevent the Lady Blue Devils attack and posted two blocks apiece.

On Tuesday, September 5, the Lady Knights will once again be on the road in KMAC play when they head to Cardington to meet up with the Lady Pirates. A home meeting with the East Knox Lady Bulldogs awaits Northmor on Thursday and on Saturday, September 9, they will play host to the spikers from Westerville South.
