MARIETTA — Coast to Coast Baseball would like to invite local players (ages 14-18) to one of their upcoming tryout events. At the tryout, the Coast to Coast staff will evaluate each player’s skills in four areas; hitting, fielding, arm strength and speed. Players accepted to the program will join college coaches and professional scouts at the 28-million dollar Roger Dean Complex in Jupiter, Florida for games and instruction December 27-31 this year.

Since the summer of 2001, over 4,000 athletes from 46 different states have participated in the Coast to Coast Baseball program. Their alumni now compete at every level of collegiate baseball and even some at the professional level.

In addition to the tryout, an instructional hitting camp will be held the same day. The goal of the camp is to help players improve hitting fundamentals as well as their mental approach at the plate.

Events will be held at: Wright State University on Monday July 10 at 10 am; Bowling Green State University on Tuesday July 11 at 10 am; Kent State University on Sunday July 16 at 5 pm; and Mount Vernon Nazarene University on Monday July 17 at 10 am.

For more information or to register for one of the above events, players and parents can visit the Coast to Coast website at www.CoastToCoastAthletics.com or call 740-236-8390.
