CRESTLINE — Last Friday night, the Crestline Lady Bulldogs took to their home court against the Bucyrus Lady Redmen in non-conference action. Crestline, looking to stop a long losing streak, came up short against Bucyrus, losing by a final score of 38-28.

The Lady Bulldogs are now 0-5 on the season overall and remain at 0-2 in the Mid-Buckeye Conference.

Lauryn Tadda was a bright spot for head coach Aaron Bluey’s team on Friday, scoring 14 points on six field goals and 2/3 from the free throw line and grabbed three rebounds. Dennesa Baker was the second leading scorer with three field goals for six points and two boards.

Crestline started out sluggish, recording just two points in the first period. At halftime, they had just 10. The team’s 18 points in the second half were not enough to overcome their deficit.

The team recorded just 10 field goals on the night and shot 8/16 from the free throw line. Crestline also had trouble handling the ball as they committed 37 turnovers in the loss.

The Bulldogs will see MBC foe, the Lucas Cubs at home on Thursday Dec.15.
