Friday

5:01 a.m. — A caller from Libby Lane apartments reported an acquaintance entered their home and was drunk, disruptive and refused to leave. The person was arrested on a warrant and turned over to the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office.

6:40 a.m. — Resident on E Walnut St called as her child did not want to go to school and was swearing at her. Juvenile later was taken to school by his father.

8:53 a.m. — Galion Street Dept notified police of a backpack with shoes in it near the YMCA Pavilion.

9:22 a.m. — Received a report of theft by an employee of Sleep Inn on Brandt Rd.

2:09 p.m. — Report of gunfire in the area of Gelsanliter Rd. Property owner advised they were target shooting.

3:19p.m. — A resident in the 300 block of Dawsett Ave advised police that her neighbor was fighting outside with his juvenile daughter. Male subject was arrested for domestic violence.

6:32 p.m. — Caller reported trash had been dumped in the wooded area of Cummings and Edward St. Info was forwarded to Galion Street Dept for pick up.

9:25 p.m. — A juvenile was arrested for under age consumption at Heise Park Stadium.

9:39 p.m. — A Highland Ave resident was arrested for domestic violence.

Saturday

12:09 a.m. — Employee of Circle K called to notify police of a drunk customer passed out on the floor of the store. Customer was released to a sober friend.

10:18 a.m. — A Hess St resident reported that something had killed all of her chickens and ducks. After investigating, it appeared that an animal got inside the fence and killed the animals.

11:08 p.m. — Caller from a residence on Harding Way West reported that people were in her apartment that would not leave. Police spoke to both parties and advised a solution for the disagreement.

Sunday

11:26 a.m. — A Carmel Ave resident reported a key stolen from their home after a party the night before.

12:12 p.m. — Resident reported three large dogs running around loose and barking in the Crew Ave area. The owner was given a verbal warning.

3:30 p.m. — A caller reported a house fire on Fifth Ave and believed there were still people inside the home. It was an electrical fire and all residents were out of the home at the time.

9:00 p.m. — Resident of the 1200 block of Harding Way east reported that his girlfriend had damaged his mother’s screen door and had thrown a rock at his car window.

Monday

5:05 a.m. — A resident on S. Boston Street called to report a semi truck driving through had torn down wires.

10:13 a.m. — Received a call from someone at Amann reservoir that a kid had a raccoon in a live trap and was shooting at it with a BB gun. The kid jumped in a car and took off when he saw the caller. Police released the raccoon and took the trap.

3:18 p.m. — A caller reported that fire gear had been stolen out of the back of his truck either at his residence on Grand St or while it was parked at his mother’s home.

5:58 p.m. — Report of a blue Schwinn bicycle stolen in the area of Erie St.

6:09 p.m. — Caller from Hensley Ave reported that her juvenile son had been assaulted. Info was taken for report.

Friday

7:12 a.m. — A Pinewood Ct resident reported her vehicle entered overnight by someone known to them.

12:56 p.m. — Officers investigated a report of a suspicious person in the 1800 block of E Mansfield St. A welfare check was made on a female that wanted to check for pregnancy in a store restroom without alerting her boyfriend.

6:27 p.m. — An abandoned bicycle was turned in at the Police Department.

8:20 p.m. — A theft report was made in the 400 block of E. Rensselaer St. An individual accused his ex-girlfriend of taking money from him.

8:22 p.m. — A traffic warning was issued in the area of Lane and Norton Way.

8:33 p.m. — Joseph Will, 38 was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct in the 100 block of W. Mansfield St. Officers were called to the area on a report of a fight. Will was issued a court date to appear and taken to Crawford County Justice Center to be held until sober.

9:30 p.m. — A minor collision involving a tractor trailer on the parking lot was investigated in the 1500 block of N. Sandusky Av.

9:43 p.m. — Officers checked on a disoriented man that had fallen off of a bicycle near the intersection of Beal Ave. and S. Sandusky Ave. William Clark Jr., 33, was arrested for felony possession of drugs and possession of marijuana. He was taken to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held for court.

11:16 p.m. — Traffic stop was made in the 300 block of S. Sandusky Ave. Willie Keeton, 34, was arrested for operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol. He was taken to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held for bond or court.

11:56 p.m. — Officers responded to a report of two men dressed in suits fighting in the lot of Holiday Inn Express. Upon arrival there was a crowd of people apparently from a wedding party. The wedding party was unable to calm a subject that had become unruly over the course of the night and the individual had climbed onto cars in the parking lot. Noah R. Johnson, 28, Lima, Ohio, was arrested for disorderly conduct, aggravated menacing, resisting arrest and assault on a police officer. He was taken to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held for an appearance in court.

Saturday

12:18 a.m. — A report of fireworks being set off in the 1300 block of Hopley Ave. was investigated.

12:37 a.m. — A report of vandalism in the 400 block of W. Warren St. was a trail of vehicle coolant from a property and extending down the roadway.

2:24 a.m. — A traffic stop was made in the alley on the west side of the 600 block of S. Sandusky Ave. Neil Collins, 31, was arrested for possession of an open container of alcohol in his vehicle and was cited for driving under suspension. He was issued a date to appear in court and released.

9:54 a.m. — A domestic dispute in the 500 block of S Sandusky Ave. was investigated.

12:19 p.m. — A W Mansfield St resident reported the theft of money from their home.

12:21 p.m. — Officers attempted to make a welfare check in the 900 block of Victoria Dr.

2:58 p.m. — A purple girls bicycle abandoned in the 100 block of W. Oakwood Av. was brought to the Police Department.

4:12 p.m. — A theft report of a credit card was taken in the 1100 block of Whetstone St.

7:43 p.m. — A vandalism report was taken I the area of Marion Rd and Arch Dr. Four boys reportedly threw a ball that struck a vehicle and ran. One of the boys was detained and another was located and the juveniles were transported to their residence.

10:06 p.m. — Officers assisted an elderly female in the 1000 block of Martha Ave.

11:05 p.m. — A report of loud music coming from Old 30 BBQ was investigated and the band stopped playing.

Sunday

12:19 a.m. — Larry Smith, 37, was arrested on a warrant out of Crawford County. He was issued a date to appear in court and released.

12:19 a.m. — Officers responded to a report of a fight near city lot 3 and it was a verbal dispute and one of the parties was issued a summons for failing to pay income tax.

1:00 a.m. — A report of a possible fight in the 200 block of N. Sandusky Ave. was investigated and subjects were being loud.

1:42 a.m. — A report of a fight in the 500 block of N. Sandusky Ave. was investigated and two males and two females were arguing.

12:39 p.m. — A warning for speed and muffler noise was issued in the 300 block of S Lane St.

1:23 p.m. — A domestic dispute in the 800 block of S Spring St. was investigated.

5:04 p.m. — Officers mediated a dispute between neighbors in the 100 block of E. Liberty St.

10:50 p.m. — Officers investigated a report of a domestic issue in the 900 block of Elm St. It was found to be a verbal argument.

Monday

8:26 a.m. — A report of an assault in the 100 block of E. Lucas Street was investigated.

9:45 a.m. — Officers spoke with a parent in the 1700 block of Whetstone Street about her unruly juvenile.

1:01 p.m. — Someone reported a strange noise coming from a residence in the 200 block of Whetstone Street. Officers spoke with the owner and determined it was a maintenance issue with an exhaust fan and he was already working on it.

1:32 p.m. — A resident in the 700 block of Faustina Avenue reported someone running over his foot with their vehicle.

2:19 p.m. — Officers responded to the Bucyrus Community Hospital to assist with a disorderly patient.

2:32 p.m. — A report of a suspicious vehicle by the railroad on S. Sandusky Avenue was investigated. No one was located in the area.

2:46 p.m. — Officers assisted a motorist locked out of his vehicle in the 1500 block of S. Sandusky Avenue.

5:59 p.m. — A resident in the 200 block of W. Southern Avenue reported damage to her yard after someone drove through it.

10:23 p.m. — A traffic stop was made in the 800 block of Woodlawn Ave. resulting in a minor drug offense charge.

10:58 p.m. — A report of a vehicle disabled in high water in the 300 block of Hopley Ave. was a disabled vehicle that was assisted to the side of the road.

11:12 p.m. — Officer responded to a report of downed tree limbs on Rogers St. and cleared the roadway.
