4H club members decorate window

The monthly meeting of the Galion Blue Ribbon Achivers 4H was March 9 atGalion Alliance Church. Seventeen members were present. Four Cloverbud members attended. Tan Baldy and Jay Paul, as well as two new Cloverbuds; Will Rinehart and Jasmine Paul.

The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Julia Roderick and The 4H Pledge was led by Wilson Frankhouse.

Kaitlyn Adkins collected the member dues money and the fundraiser money.

Thank you cards were completed for the sponsors of the member’s project books. Committee’s were formed for the fair booth, flowerbed, and community service.

A window display to celebrate 4H was completed March 3 Quay Drugs on the square in Galion March 6-13 was 4H week. Club members TJ Link, Chris Roderick, Taryn Baldy, Tan Baldy and Amy Baldy decorated the window with the theme “Spring Ahead.”

Our next meeting will take place April 6 at The Galion Alliance Church.

DAR will meet April 13 at Dapper Cabin in North Robinson

NORTH ROBINSON — The Olentangy chapter of Daughters of the American Revolution will have their next meeting on Thursday, April 13 at 1:15 p.m. at the Dapper Cabin, located in front of Colonel Crawford High School.

Regent Carol Speece announced Ted Bruner will present a a program about the History and Restoration of the Dapper Cabin, which will be followed by a tour.

On April 22, at 11 a.m., the chapter will have a Tree Dedication Ceremony at Heise Park in Galion.
