BELLVILLE — Clear Fork’s girls soccer team returned to MOAC action Monday night and and secured a 10- 0 win over Marion Pleasant at the Corral. Nine different girls scored for the Lady Colts and for the second game in a row the defense didn’t allow a shot in the shut-out.
Avery Wend had two goals for Clear Fork. Annika Labaki, Avary Wine, Ellie Hauger, Kylie Davidson, Leah Argenio, Morgan Shafer, Renee Anders, Trinity Cook had one apiece.
Morgan Galco led her team with two assists and Avary Wine, Ellie Hauger, Jada Lamp and Madison Caudill had assists, too.
The Lacy Colts now have some time off. They next play host to Marion Harding on Monday, Oct. 5.
Clear Fork 3, Riverview 0
WARSAW — Clear Fork’s girls soccer team just, playing four matches in six days.
On Saturday, the Lady Colts beat Riverview 3-0. Morgan Galco had two goals for Clear Fork, and Zoe McCune scored, Annika Labake and Avary Wine had assists. Goalkeeper Renee Ander and the Clear Fork defense had an outstanding effort, not allowing a shot on goal.
The Colts are 6-4-1 overalla and 2-1 in MOAC action.
Cloverleaf 1, Clear Fork 0
LODI — Last Thursday, playing their third game in four days, Clear Fork dropped a tough road match at Lodi Cloverleaf 1-0.
The Lady Colts had the upper hand in run of play and outshot Cloverleaf 15-8, but couldn’t find the back of the net.
Renee Anders had five saves in the goal for Clear Fork which dropped 5-4-1 overall on the season.
