Pirates best Tigers in bowling

GALION — The inaugural bowling season continued on Monday Dec.12 at Victory Lanes in Galion with the home Tigers taking on the visiting Cardington Pirates.

The boys team from Galion came up short against Cardington by a score of 2,297-2,076. The high game bowled for the match was from Austin Rinehart with an impressive 236. Rinehart also had the high series for the Tigers with a 449.

Much the same occurred on the girls side as the Tigers lost to the Pirates, 1,748-1,360. Stevi Ness bowled the high game for the girls with an 145 and Sara Misura grabbed the high series with a 273.

Galion will bowl next against the Mount Gilead Indians onDec.14 at Morrow Lanes.
