Report card results mixed for Galion schools

Ohio’s annual report card results are mixed for Galion schools.Its performance index for achievement was 79.5 percent. The only area the district dropped in was Indicators Met, with a score of 66.7 percent.Dr. Sandy Powell, director of curriculum, noted scores have increased in several areas during Thursday night’s meeting. Under the “Progress” category, which measures how much students in grades 4-8 have learned in a year’s time, Galion received an ‘A’ overall.

Crawford moves forward on high school wing
