Police arrest 3 in Bucyrus car break-ins

A call of cars being ransacked in the 1600 block of Marion Road in Bucyrus led to the arrest of three men at another location Wednesday evening.

During the course of the investigation of vehicles being broken into, Bucyrus Police were led to the Wallace Avenue area to locate one of the suspects, Gage C. Ruth, 23, Bucyrus, who was wanted on a Crawford County warrant.

Police also arrested Jonathan Alsept on a Shelby Police Department warrant after he tried to flee and was located on a rooftop. He was also arrested for resisting arrest.

The work of officers did not stop with the apprehension of Jonathan Alsept. Also arrested in the incident was Arthur Alsept, 62, on charges of falsification.

Ruth and Arthur Alsept were issued court dates and released while Jonathan Alsept was taken to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held for Shelby Police.
