MANSFIELD – The Ohio Department of Transportation District 3 will host a public meeting to discuss the proposed eastern portion of the U.S. 30 major rehabilitation project in Mansfield.
The project is intended to improve pavement conditions and improve safety on U.S. 30 from Ohio 13 to Fifth Avenue. The project will remove the existing interchange at Ohio 13 and Ohio 545 and provide a new U.S. 30interchange, a new north-south connector road and a new east-west connector road, as well as provide safer access for residents and businesses to and from U.S. 30. The project team is currently evaluating connector road alternatives at Ohio 13 and is looking for feedback.
The meeting is Wednesday, Feb. 22 from 5-7 p.m. at the United Steelworkers Union Hall in Mansfield, 376 W. Longview Ave. The meeting will be an open house format. There will be opportunities available to talk to project team members.
