1:46 a.m.-Officers assisted EMS personnel at Mill Creek Nursing.

5:11 a.m.-A disturbance at Galion Community Hospital was investigated.

8:38 a.m.-A non-injury accident was investigated in the 1200 block of Ohio 598. Mariah Woods was issued a citation for assured clear distance ahead.

9:36 a.m.-Larry E. Baldwin was issued a citation for speeding at South and Dawsett.

10:01 a.m.-Scott L. Kinter was issued citations for speeding and driving with an expired driver’s license on County Line Road.

11:41 a.m.-Jonathan R. M. Ivy was issued citations for improper passing and driving under suspension in the 1200 block of Harding Way East.

2:57 p.m.-A report of a possible scam regarding car repairs was investigated in the 300 block of Harding Way West.

3:18 p.m.-A domestic dispute in the 100 block of Wilson Avenue was investigated.

4:49 p.m.-A report of the theft of beer from Circle K was investigated.

6:57 p.m.-Chase Johnson was issued a citation for driving under suspension and failure to yield in the 700 block of Harding Way West.

7:15 p.m.-A welfare check was conducted on a resident in the 500 block of South Union Street.

8:36 p.m.-A report of an overdose was investigated in the 1500 block of Trachsel Place.

9:39 p.m.-A domestic dispute was investigated in the 400 block of Second Avenue and Richard Meck was arrested.

11:54 p.m.-A report of a high level of natural gas in a residence in the 700 block of Frazier Court was investigated.

12:35 a.m.-A report of a possible drunk driver was investigated in the 700 block of Harding Way West.

12:59 a.m.-Richard C. Meck, 41, Galion, was arrested for domestic violence, unlawful restraint and obstructing official business in the 400 block of Second Avenue.

1:52 a.m.-A report of juveniles breaking into vehicles in the 1300 block of Harding Way East was investigated.

2:32 a.m.-Darian L. Smothers was issued a citation for expired plates in the Anker Street area.

1:32 a.m.-Officers assisted EMS personnel in the 500 block of East Church Street.

9:20 a.m.-Ryan S. Pensinger was issued a citation for speeding in the 7400 block of Ohio 309.

1:42 p.m.-A report of a suspicious man in the 800 block of Harding Way East was investigated.

2:04 p.m.-A hit-skip accident in the 200 block of Portland Way North was investigated. Devon T. Strader was issued a citation for driving under suspension and failure to yield the right of way when turning left.

5:11 p.m.-A welfare check was conducted in the 700 block of Harding Way East.

8:13 p.m.-Shane M. Piatt, 41, Galion, was arrested for operating a vehicle under the influence and obstructing official business and issued a citation for peeling tires in the 400 block of Homer Street.

11:35 p.m.-A report of the theft of a gun in the 600 block of Harding Way West was investigated.

2:55 a.m.-Officers assisted EMS personnel in the 100 block of East Street. Deven P. Huddlestun, 21, Galion, was arrested for disorderly conduct.

6:16 a.m.-Dustin L. Rigney-Conkel was issued a citation for driving with expired plates in the 200 block of Portland Way North.

5:26 p.m.-Officers assisted a man in the 700 block of South Boston Street who was experiencing mental health issues.

9:43 p.m.-A report of a suspicious male in the 100 block of North East Street was investigated.

10:25 p.m.-Matthew Knipp was arrested in the 100 block of North East Street for criminal trespassing.

2:37 a.m.-Jacqueline A. Gildard was arrested for disorderly conduct in the 100 block of South Pierce Street.

4:08 a.m.-Jacob A. McGowan was arrested for disorderly conduct in the 400 block of Harding Way East.

6:44 a.m.-A report of a possible breaking and entering in the 700 block of Clay Street was investigated.

4:50 p.m.-A disturbance at a residence in the 600 block of Brookside Drive was investigated.

5:52 p.m.-A wallet found at Moto Mart was turned over to police.

6:59 p.m.-A report of a suspicious vehicle at Cobey Park turned out to be a man playing Pokemon Go.

11:37 p.m.-A resident in the 800 block of South Boston Street reported her vehicle taken without permission.

Jan. 2

12:14 a.m.-A welfare check was conducted on a resident in the Mardo Lane area.

10:24 a.m.-A deer receipt was issued to a resident for a dead deer located behind Galion Middle School.

11:22 a.m.-Christopher Ute was issued citations for speeding and driving under suspension in the 300 block of Grant Street.

11:31 a.m.-A report of gunshots being heard coming from the woods off of Dawsett Avenue was investigated.

7:11 p.m.-A resident in the 400 block of Harding Way West reported a credit card stolen.

Dec. 30

12:57 p.m.- Officers assisted the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office in the 100 block of North Highland Avenue.

12:58 p.m.- A resident came to the station to make a fraud report.

2:35 p.m.- A report was made of a dog being stolen from a vehicle on Marion Road. The dog was later located running loose in the area.

4:18 p.m.- A welfare check was requested in the 1700 block of Marion Road.

4:46 p.m.- Officers took a report of a possible civil protection order violation at the police department.

5:00 p.m.- A North Sandusky Avenue resident reported receiving threats.

7:15 p.m.- A suspicious vehicle was investigated in the 1000 block of South Sandusky Avenue.

7:28 p.m.- A disturbance was investigated in the 800 block of Woodlawn Avenue.

7:53 p.m.- Two income tax summons were served in the 800 block of South Walnut Street.

8:08 p.m.- Officers assisted a person experiencing mental problems.

8:46 p.m.- Three income tax summons were issued in the 100 block of North Spring Street.

8:49 p.m.- One income tax summons was issued in the 900 block of Reid Street.

10:30 p.m.- A piece of metal was removed from the roadway in the 400 block of North Sandusky Avenue.

10:53 p.m.- A disturbance in the area of Maple and Dudley Streets was investigated.

11:10 p.m.- An assault report was taken in the 100 block of West Mansfield Street.

11:32 p.m.- A welfare check was requested in the 100 block of Heritage Circle.

12:52 a.m.- Officers assisted the Ohio State Patrol in the 1300 block of East Mansfield Street.

2:30 p.m.- A disturbance was investigated in the 200 block of West Mary Street.

3:52 p.m.- A theft report was taken in the 500 block of East Warren Street.

5:00 p.m.- Brian Britton, 40, was arrested in the 400 block of East Southern Avenue on two Crawford County warrants. He was taken to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held for court. He was also served two income tax summons.

5:33 p.m.- One income tax summons was served in 800 block of East Mansfield Street.

5:38 p.m.- A traffic hazard was removed from the roadway in the 200 block of East Liberty Street.

5:46 p.m.- A verbal warning for loud music was issued to a resident in the area of Walnut and Perry Streets.

6:51 p.m.- Two income tax summons were issued in the 500 block of Prospect Street.

7:14 p.m.- Officers attempted to serve a warrant.

7:22 p.m.- Officers attempted to serve a warrant.

7:28 p.m.- A disturbance was investigated in the 1500 block of North Sandusky Avenue.

8:30 p.m.- Officers attempted to serve income tax summons in the 700 block of High Street.

8:41 p.m.- A report of a male throwing things at a female at Bucyrus Plaza was investigated.

9:55 p.m.- Officers investigated a suspicious vehicle parked at Aumiller Park. The driver was found to be playing Pokemon.

10:14 p.m.- Officers assisted EMS in the 800 block of Wilbur Street.

10:28 p.m.- A report of juveniles about to fight in the 200 block of East Mansfield Street was investigated.

10:15 p.m.- Officers assisted the State Patrol in the area of Mansfield Street and Oak Drive.

10:58 p.m.- A report of a female being pushed while at the Crazy Fox was investigated.

11:12 p.m.- A report of possible underage drinking in the 600 block of Hopley Avenue was investigated.

11:58 p.m.- A report of loud music in the 1500 block of Sommer Avenue was investigated.

12:18 a.m.- Officers assisted a female juvenile with some issues she was having at home.

12:59 a.m.- A resident in the 100 block of South Spring Street reported being threatened.

1:19 a.m.- A report of a fight in the 100 block of West Mansfield Street was investigated.

1:20 a.m.- Jessica Wade, 33, was arrested for disorderly conduct and criminal damaging.

1:26 a.m.- Jamie Amore, 35, was arrested for domestic violence.

1:38 a.m.- Brett Young, 32, was arrested for operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol.

1:56 a.m.- A report of a fight in City Lot #3 was investigated.

2:15 a.m.- Derek Riels, 29, was arrested for disorderly conduct and felonious assault.

3:23 a.m.- Officers assisted EMS in the 900 block of West Southern Avenue.

3:34 a.m.- A report of an assault in the 300 block of Iron Street was investigated.

3:51 a.m.- A report of a disorderly male at Pinewood Court was investigated.

5:00 a.m.- A report of an assault in the 500 block of Failor Street was investigated.

6:04 a.m.- Lenzie Lantz, 24, was arrested on a warrant out of Crawford County.

8:32 a.m.- Officers made a welfare check in the 300 block of West Rensselaer Street.

4:01 p.m.- A two-vehicle accident was investigated at Walnut Street and Southern Avenue.

4:39 p.m.- A welfare check was requested in the 800 block of South Poplar Street.

5:47 p.m.- A report of a sexual assault was made and is under investigation.

5:57 p.m.- A domestic dispute was investigated in the 200 block of West Mary Street.

7:43 p.m.- A domestic dispute was investigated in the 400 block of East Warren Street.

9:40 p.m.- A resident in the 900 block of Hull Avenue reported finding her door open.

9:54 p.m.- Richard Fannin, 53, was arrested on a warrant out of Crawford County.

10:15 p.m.- A report of a loose dog in the 1300 block of Home Circle Drive was investigated.

10:35 p.m.- A report of a vehicle hitting a dog in the 500 block of North Sandusky Avenue was investigated.

11:42 p.m.- Sherry Jordan, 52, was arrested for domestic violence.

3:08 a.m.- Officers assisted the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office in the 1400 block of Cullen Avenue.

4:51 a.m.- A report of a suspicious male in the 1500 block of North Sandusky Avenue was investigated.

8:26 a.m.- A report of possible child abuse is being investigated.

10:09 a.m.- Officers investigated a report of debris on a vehicle in the 500 block of Park Avenue.

10:25 a.m.- A welfare check on a man was done in the 400 block of South Spring Street.

12:00 p.m.- A woman reported damage to her vehicle in the 200 block of East Warren Street.

12:16 p.m.- A report of an unwanted man in the 1500 block of North Sandusky Avenue was resolved with the man leaving the area.

12:32 p.m.- Officers picked up a syringe from the 200 block of East Charles Street.

1:55 p.m.- A welfare check was conducted in the 100 block of Heritage Circle.

2:05 p.m.- Officers investigated a report of a possible domestic dispute in a vehicle in the 1800 block of North Sandusky Avenue.

3:21 p.m.- One income tax summons was served at the police department.

5:20 p.m.- Officers responded with EMS personnel to a medical call in the 500 block of South Spring Street.

6:31 p.m.- A domestic disturbance in the 900 block of Earl Street was mediated.

8:58 p.m.- Officers responded to a report of an apparently intoxicated individual causing a disturbance by bothering patrons and damaging property in the 400 block of North Sandusky Avenue. Darian Naveja, 21, was arrested on charges of criminal damaging, assault, abusing harmful intoxicants, and disorderly conduct. He was issued his paperwork and taken to the Crawford County Justice Center.

Jan. 3

12:45 a.m.- A report of a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot at Bucyrus Community Hospital was newspaper delivery.

4:00 a.m.- A report of a possible drunk driver on South Sandusky Avenue was investigated.

6:29 a.m.- An attempted assault in the 300 block of Woodlawn Avenue is under investigation.
