GALION — Officers with the Crawford County Special Response Team executed a search warrant at 123 Sherman St Galion, OH regarding an ongoing narcotics investigation.

Pursuant to the warrant officers seized heroin, suboxone, marijuana, syringes, drug paraphernalia and cash. The resident: Jamie R. Weithman, 33, was taken into custody and transported to the Crawford County jail on charges of trafficking in drugs.

Additional charges will be filed pending review by the county prosecutor’s office.

Agencies assisting with the Special Response Team include: Crawford County Sheriff’s Office, Bucyrus & Galion Police Departments, Bucyrus & Galion Fire Departments; Metrich Enforcement Unit also assisted during the drug trafficking investigation.
