GriefShare session meets Monday at St. Paul UMC

GALION — The spring session of GriefShare, a grief recovery support group, will meet at St. Paul United Methodist Church, 746 Cherry St. on Monday, from 6:30-8 p.m., on, March 11.

Whether your loss is recent or not so recent, this 13 week, Christ-centered, Bible-based program is designed to offer encouragement, comfort and help in grieving the loss your spouse, child, parent, sibling, another family member or friend.The program offers you the opportunity to be around people who understand what you are feeling and, with God’s help, to bring you peace.

Galion K of C announces fish fry schedule

GALION — The Knights of Columbus Lenten Fish Dinners are March 8, March 22 and April 5, from 5-7 p.m. at the St. Joseph’s Activity Center, 115 N. Liberty St. Dine inside or carryout. The public is welcome.

Lenten program starts March 10 at St. Paul UMC

GALION — St. Paul United Methodist Church, 746 Cherry St., is hosting a Lenten Program on Sunday afternoons from 4:30 to 6 p.m. beginning March 10. “The 24 Hours That Changed the World,” authored by Pastor Adam Hamilton, is a sox-week program offering the opportunity to better understand the events during the last 24 hours of Jesus’ life and to reflect on the meaning of these events for our lives.

Lenten fish fries starting at Crestine St. Joseph’s

CRESTLINE — It’s Knights of Columbus Fish Fry season once again at Crestline St. Joseph. Come dine the parish and enjoy the area’s best deep fried or baked fish, served with a baked potato, two sides, dinner roll, and a drink. Dine in or carryout. Prices are $9 for adults, $4 for children 12 and younger. Fish fries are at the Convocation Center on March 8, 15, 22, 29, and April 5 and 12. All run from 5- 7 p.m. Proceeds benefit St. Joseph Catholic Elementary School.
