GALION — Justin Newman, Jr. almost couldn’t wait for 2019 to begin.

He is the first child born in Crawford County in the new year, coming less than eight yours into the new year. Justin Newman Jr. was born at Galion Hospital at 7:34 a.m. on Jan. 1. He is the son of Kelsey Saum and Justin Newman.

Justin Jr., was delivered by Dr. Eric Hoff.
