Galion youth football camp May 22-24

GALION — The Galion High School football coaching staff will conduct a football camp to help develop football skills and fundamentals. The camp is May 22 to May 24 from 4-5:30 and 3:4:30 p.m. It costs $20 and checks should be made out to Galion Football Parents Club.

The camp is for kids in first grade thru eighth grade. Kids who attend Galion Primary and Galion Intermediate School will have their camp from 4-5:30 p.m., Middle School players will have their camp from 3-4:30 p.m.

The camp will take place in the soccer field behind the Galion Middle School. Primary and Intermediate School participants will be walked from their school to the soccer fields by a member of the high school football team.

​Forms should be mailed to Galion High School, c/o Matt Dick, 472 Portland Way, Galion, OH 44833, or bring the registration with you on first day of camp.

All participants will receive a camp T-shirt. Campers will be instructed in the following areas: basic football fundamentals, drills, and techniques. What to wear: Tennis shoes/cleats, shorts/sweats. Parents are urged to come and watch. The focus will be on fundamentals and fun.
