Boys basketball: N10, Crawford schools win

The Buckeye Central boys basketball team defeated Seneca East 63-47 in Northern 10 Athletic Conference action Friday night.

The Bucks had a 29-19 lead over the Tigers at halftime.

Buckeye Central shot 24 of 50 and made 11 of 18 free throws, while Seneca East shot 18 of 46, making 9 of 13 free throws.

The Bucks defeated the Tigers 34-28 in the second half of the game.

Buckeye Central had 32 rebounds and 10 turnovers, while Seneca East had 28 rebounds and 16 turnovers.

Grant Loy led the Bucks with a game high of 31 points including three 3-pointers, while Jacob Shade added 15 points.

Brady Ferres led the Tigers with 20 points, while Bradeon Tipple added 11 points.

Buckeye Central (9-4, 7-2 N10) will host to play Crestline in non-conference play on Friday.

Colonel Crawford Eagles

The Colonel Crawford boys basketball team defeated Mohawk 51-34 in league play on Friday.

The Eagles and Warriors were tied at 17 at halftime.

Colonel Crawford shot 13 of 27 and made 19 of 30 free throws, while Mohawk shot 12 of 21, making 4 of 5 free throws.

The Eagles defeated the Warriors 34-17 in the second half of the game.

Colonel Crawford had 21 rebounds and 14 turnovers, while Mohawk had nine rebounds and 17 turnovers.

Owen Adams led the Eagles with 16 points, while Brody Martin added 10.

Alex Jeffrey led the Warriors with 10 points, while Brayden Dunlap added nine points.

Colonel Crawford (10-4, 7-2 N10) will host to play conference rival Wynford (7-6, 5-4 N10) on Friday.

Wynford Royals

The Wynford boys basketball team defeated Ridgedale 51-47 in league play on Saturday.

The Royals outscored the Rockets 32-22 at halftime.

Wynford made 18 of 49 shots and 8 of 12 free throws, while Ridgedale shot 22 of 42 and made 2 of 4 free throws.

The Royals lost to the Rockets in the second half of the game 25-19.

Wynford had 25 rebounds and 11 turnovers, while Ridgedale had 20 rebounds and 13 turnovers.

Alex Crall led the Royals with 12 points, while Zach Hoffman and Jack Reed each added 10 points.

Alex Eldred had a game high of 20 points for the Rockets.
