Northmor defeats East Knox

The Northmor boys basketball team defeated conference foe East Knox 48-30 Thursday night.

The Knights had a 29-22 lead over the Bulldogs at halftime.

Northmor made 16 o 38 shots and 10 of 17 free throws, while East Knox shot 10 of 36 and made 8 of 18 charity shots.

The Knights won the second half over the Bulldogs 19-8.

Northmor had 35 rebounds and 13 turnovers, while East Knox had 16 rebounds and 10 turnovers.

Demetrius Johnson led the Knights with 17 points including two 3-pointers, seven rebounds and 3 of 5 free throws. Brock Pletcher added 14 points, and Tyler Kegley had 11 rebounds and five blocks.

Dom Spadaro led the Bulldogs with nine points and four rebounds, while Logan Hill added eight points.

Northmor (3-6, 2-3 MOAC) will travel to play Highland (2-5, 2-4 MOAC) in league play on Saturday.
