NEW LONDON — There will be a memorial golf outing for the recent passing of former Colonel Crawford head football coach Ryan Teglovic. Teglovic passed away on May 27, surrounded by his loved ones after a battle with pancreatic cancer. The Coach Teg Memorial Golf Outing will take place on July 9. The golfing will be done at Millstone Hills Golf Course, which is located in New London.

The golfing will start with an 8 a.m. shotgun start. The Colonel Crawford community is looking for hole sponsors for this event, as well as gift prizes, and food for the day of the event. Sponsors are asked to make checks payable to Teglovic Family Fund. Those that are taking part in this event can send checks to Ty Stevenson at 1760 Clinton Road in Collins, Ohio.

Spots are filling up fast, so the Colonel Crawford Athletic Boosters asks that those who wish to participate get registered quickly. Teglovic took over the Eagles’ football program in 2008 and coached through last season. Teglovic won 93 games and a pair of league titles.
