HOJGA at Three Sticks Golf Course

MARION — Heart of Ohio Junior Golf Association got out the clubs on Monday, at Three Sticks Golf Course located in Marion. Area golfers were able to place throughout the leaderboard.

Nicholas McMullen, Galion, was able to finish second with a 66 on a par 60 course. McMullen scored eight pars and two birdies, to finish six over. Alexander Crowe of Fairbanks won the even with an even score of 60.

Logan Keller from Galion was eight over par, which was tied for fourth. Keller made nine par shots and added a birdie put. Buckeye Central’s Logan Neise was tied with Keller.

Nathan McMullen finished in sixth place overall. McMullen, of Galion, finished with a score of 69. McMullen’s par game was working, as he knocked in seven of them, along with one birdie.

Braylan Hart, another Galion golfer, finished with a score of 78. Galion’s Gavin Crim scored an 83.

In the second group of boys’ golfers, Carson Walker was in place No.10 with a score of 86.

On the set of nine holes, Colonel Crawford’s Bryant Berry scored 35 on a par 30. Bryant made three pars and a birdie.

On the girls’ golf side, Lucy Myers of Colonel Crawford finished in first place with a score of 67. Myers knocked in nine pars, added a birdie as well.

HOJGA will be back in action on June 13 at Golf Club of Bucyrus, before a nine day break that will end with 18 more holes at Marysville Golf Course on June 22.
