Girls tennis: Madison defeats Galion, 4-1

GALION — The 2021 girls tennis season came to a conclusion on Tuesday.

Madison defeated Galion 4-1 at Heise Park to wrap up regular season play.

Keiah Coulter collected Galion’s lone win of the evening with a 6-1, 6-0 victory at No. 3 singles.

Taylor Henry dropped her No. 1 singles matchup, 6-3, 6-3.

At No. 2 singles, Kadence Fairchild lost, 6-4, 6-4.

Emma Maguire and Lydia McCabe lost their first doubles match in three sets, 6-4, 2-6, 5-7.

At second doubles, Kenzie Bowman and Zoee Reagan lost, 6-1, 6-0.

Galion finished the regular season with a 5-13 overall record and a 2-10 mark in Mid Ohio Athletic Conference play.
