CRESTLINE — For the first time, Crestline’s bowling tams will enter their winter sports season as members of a competing conference.

Crestline, coached by veteran leader Jeff Teeple, will take to their home alley of Victory Lanes, also home to the Galion and Northmor bowling teams, in 2019-2020 as members of the Knox-Morrow Athletic Conference alongside Northmor, Highland, East Knox, Mount Gilead, Cardington, Centerburg and Fredericktown. Danville does not have a bowling team but are members of the KMAC in all other athletics.

Teeple, entering his 10th and final season as the leader of the Bulldogs, saw his boys team finish 10-9 a season ago while the Lady ‘Dogs finished at 7-11 overall. Crestline’s boys team won the Crawford County Championship during the 2018-2019 season.

Simon Reynolds and Teddy Munoz are back for their senior seasons, looking to earn varsity letter number four for the blue and white while Erin McKenna and Rachel Weyant hope to roll their way to their third letter. Joining those four teammates is Nick Huber, attempting to earn his second letter.

Crestline’s season began back on Saturday, November 16 when they participated in the annual Victory Lanes Warm-Up Tourney. Following that, the Bulldogs have bowled in duals against Northmor (11/18), Mansfield Senior (11/19) and most recently, Bucyrus on Thursday, November 21. The regular season is set to conclude for the newest bowling members of the KMAC with the conference tournament, hosted by the Northmor Golden Knights at Victory Lanes, on Saturday, February 8.
