Whiffle ball tourney Oct. 24 in Bucyrus

The Spooktacular Whiffle Ball Tournament will be played Saturday, Oct. 24 at Aumiller Park in Bucyrus. The registration fee is $50 per team. The deadline to register is Oct. 22.

Teams will consist of five players each. There will be two divisions: age 12-15 and age 16 and older. Games will be six innings. Tournament organizers will supply bats and balls. The tournament will begin at noon on Oct. 24.

Proceeds from the tournament will benefit the Spooktacular, which will be held from 5-8 p.m. on Oct. 24 at Aumiller Park.

Northmor Fall Wrestling Camp set for Oct. 24

The Northmor Fall Wrestling Camp is scheduled for Oct. 24. The fee is $45 per camper. The camp will run from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. at the old high school building. Galion Fall Kickoff Open set for Oct. 25

The second annual Galion Fall Kickoff Open wrestling tournament is scheduled for Sunday, Oct. 25 at Galion High School. The event is sponsored by Galion Wrestling and the Ohio Wrestling Association for Youth (OH-WAY).

Competitors will be grouped according to age in seven divisions, ranging from age 5 to 19. No high school graduates are allowed in the tournament. The entry fee is $20.

Cycling Sports Center group rides

Cycling Sports Center of Galion invites area bicycle enthusiasts to its weekly group rides. The group rides are held every Wednesday beginning at 6 p.m. The rides start at the store, located at 130 Harding Way East. For information, stop by the store, or call 419-462-2453.
