Jake Farley scampered seven yards for a touchdown in overtime that gave Northmor a 25-19 victory against Worthington Christian last Friday.
Farley helped force the extra period when he hit Frank Keller with a 39-yard scoring pass at the 2:06 mark of the fourth quarter to tie the game. Farley finished with 64 yards passing, completing 6-of-9 attempts.
Demetrius Johnson led the Knights with 122 yards rushing on just five carries. He scored on a 64-yard run in the first quarter and added a 25-yard touchdown sprint in the third period. The Knights (1-1) had 162 total yards.
Emerson Patrick rushed for 80 yards and scored two touchdowns to pace Worthington Christian (1-1), which had 117 yards rushing. Alex Tucker connected on 17-of-24 passes for 192 yards, a touchdown and two interceptions. The Warriors finished with 309 total yards.
Northmor travels to Lucas on Friday.
