MARION — The 2017 fall sports season kept on rolling for the Galion Tigers golf team on Tuesday at the Marion Country Club.

Galion kept their undefeated season alive against the Harding Presidents, winning by a tally of 163-186. The Tigers are now 11-0 both on the season and in the Mid-Ohio Athletic Conference.

Jack McElligott led the way for the Tigers, turning in a 38 on the day. Behind McElligott was Spencer Keller with a 40. Matthew McMullen and Kaleb Harsh rounded out the kept scores for Galion, shooting a 42 and 43, respectively. Matt Kingseed finished the day with a 47 and Mitch Dyer fired a 48 for the visiting squad.

As the season draws closer to completion, Galion looks to remain atop the MOAC. On Wednesday, they will travel to Pleasant for a make-up match. Galion will also be on the road on Monday, September 18 against the Ontario Warriors at Twin Lakes. Another match-up, this time at home, with Pleasant on the 20th awaits as the final tune-up before the MOAC tournament on Thursday the 21st at Apple Valley Golf Course in Howard.
