GALION — The always tough Marion Pleasant Lady Spartans were at Northmor High School to meet up with the Lady Golden Knights in a non-league contest on Thursday night. Pleasant would come away a 56-43 win.

Northmor is now 4-4 on the season and remains 3-2 in the Mid-Ohio Athletic Conference Blue Division. Pleasant improves to 7-3 for the year and has a 3-1 MOAC Red Division record.

Maddie Swihart was the leading scorer for head coach Daryl Uhde’s Knights on Thursday with 17 points. Brooke Bennett added 10 points in the effort and Christianna Boggs contributed eight points in the loss.

The Golden Knights will be playing a back-to-back as they make the long bus ride to Liberty Center on Friday Dec.30 to meet up with the Lady Tigers.
