GALION — The Jonathon Alder Lady Pioneers were in Galion on Wednesday night to play their makeup Mid-Ohio Athletic Conference Red Divsion game with the Lady Tigers. Alder had no issues with Galion, defeating the home team by a final score of 43-25.

Galion’s record now stands at 1-7 overall and 0-5 in league play. The Lady Pioneers are 5-2 and 2-1.

The Lady Tigers found themselves in a big hole from the opening tip, trailing 19-4 after the opening quarter and 33-9 at halftime. Alder added just 10 points to their total in the second half but still came away with the 18-point victory.

Gabby Kaple lead the Galion scoring with 12 points and grabbed three of the Tigers’ 19 rebounds.

The Tigers will play host to the Golden Knights on Friday December 23 and then hit the road on Tuesday December 27 to take only the Lady Whippets from Shelby.
