Crestline girls basketball team host preview

CRESTLINE —On Saturday Nov. 19, the Crestline Bulldogs will host the 1st Annual Lady Bulldog Classic at Crestline High School. The event will begin at 10 am with the Lucas and Tiffin Calvert 7th and 8th grade teams. The varsity scrimmages will begin at approximately 2:30 pm when the Lucas and Tiffin Calvert girls take to the court.

Scrimmages are to last about one hour and the order of matchups is as follows; 3:30: Black River vs East Knox, 4:30: Wellington vs Hopewell-Loudon, 5:3o: Norwalk vs unknown opponent (Lexington had to drop out), 6:30: Mansfield Senior vs Buckeye Valley and concludes with Crestline playing against Monroeville.

There will also be a spaghetti luncheon and dinner in the Crestline High School cafeteria for anyone wanting to purchase tickets. It will run from 12 noon until 8:30 pm. Tickets will be $6 for anyone older than five years of age.

Galion bowling teams see first action of the season

GALION — The Galion Tigers bowling teams will be at Victory Lanes here in Galion to compete in the Victory Lanes Warm-Up Tourney on Saturday starting at 1 pm. The girls team is coached by Bobby Lear and the boys coach is Ryan Scribner.

Girls basketball team hosts Plymouth Lady Vikings

GALION —At 6 pm on Nov. 19, the Galion Lady Tigers basketball team will welcome the Plymouth Lady Vikings to take place in the 1st Annual Foundations Preview Game. A silent auction will be taking place in the Galion High School cafetorium during the event with all proceeds to benefit the family of Kaden Allerding.
