Ontario gets best of Northmor on the volleyball court

GALION — The Northmor Knights dropped a 25-10, 19-25, 24-26, 17-25 decision to Ontario on Monday.

Defensively for the Knights, Lindsey Wiseman had 26 digs against the Warriors attack and Anna Donner added 15.

Jordyn Zoll and Caitlin Thebeault provided the setting for Northmor on Monday. Zoll finished the match with 17 assists and Thebeault contributed 12 in the losing effort. Donner was the lead attacker on the night, going 45/51 hitting with 13 kills. Kelsie Fike was also busy at the net, going 24/26 hitting and recording six kills. Chloe Meier added four kills for the Knights. Thebeault, Rayanna Loyer and Hope Miracle notched three kills apiece.

The service game for the Knights was lead by Zoll, Donner and Thebeault. Zoll finished the night with a perfect 21/21 serving and three aces. Donner went 12/13, also with three aces. Thebeault was 16/17 from the service line and added an ace.

Northmor is now 14-4 overall on the season and will be back on the court Tuesday October 4 in Mid-Ohio Athletic Conference Blue Division play against the East Knox Bulldogs.
