DELAWARE — Galion girls golf team stepped up to the course to compete against Buckeye Valley and North Union in Mid-Ohio Athletic Conference play Tuesday.

Galion shot 230 on Oakhaven Golf Club’s front nine. Abby Barre and Shae Ness each shot a 54. Greer Gledhill shot a 58 and Alexis Chaplin added a 64. Macy Eicher (69) and Brooklyn Potter were also on the course for Galion.

Buckeye Valley shot a 222, good enough to defeat and North Union 204.

Galion has a make-up match against North Union and Jonathon Alder tonight and is scheduled to take on Wynford Thursday. Both matches will be at home at the Sycamore Creek Golf Course.
