Northmor volleyball cruises to win No. 6

MARION — The Northmor Knights volleyball team has been on a roll so far this season. Coach Kara Wright and her team have been dominate in every matchup. Monday night in Marion, that dominance continued with a 25-13, 25-11, 26-24 win over the Elgin Comets.

Jordyn Zoll was once again all over the court for the Knights, contributing in every possible way to help her team secure a victory. Zoll was 24/24 serving with four aces, added 15 assists and five kills on the offensive side of the net. She also contributed 12 digs on defense. Anna Donner also provided another stellar performance with 29/31 hitting and 11 kills, adding 16 digs as well. Kelsie Fike brought her offensive prowess as well, going 28/29 hitting with 10 kills.

Northmor’s junior varsity team also won easily, 25-19 and 25-15.

Northmor improved to 6-0 on the season and 2-0 in the Mid-Ohio Athletic Conference Blue Division. Up next for the Knights is league rival Centerburg on Sept. 6.
