Baseball | Galion players recognized by MOAC

The Mid Ohio Athletic Conference released its All Conference team awards for the 2016 baseball season.

Galion and Northmor athletes received recogntion for their efforts during the season.

In the Red Division, the first team award went to Garrett Kuns, while Tyler Castline and Matt Hardy were awarded Second Team. Josh Eckert received an honorable mention. Castline came in fourth in the MOAC for the most stolen bases during the regular season — he was at bat for 61 times with 20 stolen bases.

In the Blue Division, Jake Farley was awarded First Team, while Gunnar Lilly received Second Team. Farley was the third lead hitter in the conference prior to tournament play — he was at bat 83 times with 37 hits. He also came in third for stealing the most bases at 21. Kyle Kegley received an honorable mention.
