Dec. 15

8:40 a.m.-Officers completed a welfare check on a resident in the 200 block of Libby Lane.

9:06 a.m.-A non-injury accident involving a vehicle and a deer was investigated in the 7800 block of Ohio 309.

12:11 p.m.-An employee at Check Into Cash reported being robbed by a man with a gun in the 700 block of Harding Way East. Officers enlisted the assistance of the Bucyrus and Mansfield Police Departments and Crawford County Sheriff’s Office for the use of K-9 units to aid in the search for the assailant. No other information was available.

2:38 p.m.-A report of fraud from a resident in the 600 block of Portland Way South is under investigation.

4:34 p.m.-A report of a man acting in a threatening manner in the 1200 block of Ohio 598 was investigated.

7:37 p.m.-A non-injury accident involving a truck and a deer was investigated in the 900 block of Charles Street.

8:55 p.m.-A domestic dispute was investigated in the Mardo Lane area.

Dec. 16

5:07 a.m.-A domestic dispute in the 400 block of Railroad Street was investigated.

5:21 a.m.-Officers assisted EMS personnel in the 5700 block of Ohio 309.

5:25 a.m.-A Sixth Avenue resident reported a breaking and entering of their apartment and rings and quarters were reported stolen.

5:37 a.m.-Officers assisted EMS personnel in the 7800 block of Anker Drive.

7:33 a.m.-An injury accident was investigated in the parking lot of Galion High School.

Bucyrus Police

Dec. 15

8:05 a.m.- Officers assisted a school bus in the 600 block of Hopley Avenue.

9:43 a.m.- Officers investigated a report of a suspicious person in the Woodbine Apartments area.

12:56 p.m.- A report of kids climbing the underpass wall on South Highland Avenue was investigated.

1:08 p.m.- Officers investigated a report of a vicious dog in the 500 block of Rogers Street.

3:20 p.m.- Officers are investigating a report of a shoplifting at Ehrharts.

6:09 p.m.- A theft report was taken at Bucyrus Plaza.

6:50 p.m.- Officers assisted the Ohio State Patrol on East Mansfield Street.

7:01 p.m.- A juvenile complaint was taken at the police department.

8:39 p.m.- A report of a suspicious person was investigated in the area of Lavina Avenue.

9:09 p.m.- Officers assisted Life Support Team Ambulance in the 800 block of South Spring Street.

9:18 p.m.- A disturbance was reported in the 200 block of Wayne Avenue.

9:57 p.m.- A suspicious vehicle in the 800 block of South Spring Street was investigated.

10:00 p.m.- A report of a suspicious vehicle running in the alleyway off the 400 block of West Charles Street was investigated. The vehicle was gone before officers arrived.

10:14 p.m.- Todd Kinn, 45, was arrested on a Crawford County warrant. He was issued a date to appear in court and released.

Dec. 16

12:53 a.m.- The water department was contacted to assist a resident in the 300 block of Kramer Avenue with a water line break.

12:55 a.m.- A resident in the 200 block of West Mansfield Street reported her vehicle damaged while parked on North Sandusky Avenue this evening.

1:26 a.m.- Ellen Hout, 47, was arrested for disorderly conduct and seven Crawford County warrants. She was taken to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held. She was also issued paperwork for six income tax summons.
