March 9

10:50 a.m.-A needle found on a sidewalk in the 400 block of Portland Way North was turned over to police for proper disposal.

1:57 p.m.-Officers attempted to deliver a message to a Harding Way East resident for the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office.

2:51 p.m.- Simon C. Avila III was cited for speeding in the 600 block of North Market Street.

6:14 p.m.-Jay H. McElhatten was issued a citation for speeding on South Market Street at Parson Street.

6:35 p.m.-A domestic dispute was investigated in the 700 block of South Boston Street.

9:59 p.m.-A report of loud music at a residence in the 700 block of Clay Street was investigated.

11:15 p.m.-Celestia D. Black was issued a citation for driving under suspension in the South Market and Pershing Avenue area.

Bucyrus Police

March 9

7:41 a.m.-Officers spoke with a resident at the station regarding a prior complaint.

7:59 a.m.-A resident came to the station to report a disturbance that occurred at her residence.

11:08 a.m.-A dog bite complaint was taken at Bucyrus Community Hospital.

11:15 a.m.-Officers spoke with a resident at the station regarding possible check fraud.

11:33 a.m.-Officers made a welfare check in the 600 block of East Rensselaer Street.

3:29 p.m.-A possible civil protection order violation was investigated in the 400 block of West Mansfield Street.

3:47 p.m.-Officers stood by for a civil property exchange in the 200 block of West Charles Street.

4:19 p.m.-Two income tax summons were served at the police department.

4:24 p.m.-Officers checked the welfare of a resident in the 600 block of Hopley Avenue.

4:27 p.m.-Kevin Parker, 36, was arrested on a Crawford County warrant. He was issued a date to appear in court and released.

6:27 p.m.-A disturbance in the 1700 block of Whetstone Street was investigated.

8:04 p.m.-Hannah McCoy, 26, was arrested on a charge of domestic violence. She was taken to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held for court.

10:47 p.m.-A Rogers Street resident reported receiving threats from someone she knows.

10:57 p.m.-Officers conducted a welfare check in the 900 block of Reid Street.

11:05 p.m.-A report of people talking and things being slammed in the 400 block of West Mary Street was investigated.

March 10

1:22 a.m.-Thomas E. Myers, 52, was arrested on a warrant out of Crawford County. He was issued a date to appear in court and released.
