Daughters of Union Vets meet

The Daughters of Union Veterans of the Civil War, Tent 91, Galion, met for its regular meeting March 1 at the home of Lois Rinehart. Meeting was conducted by President, Cathy Brown.

Relief report included: four visits, 112 cards sent and 132 volunteer hours.

Heather Callahan was accepted into membership of Tent 91. We want to welcome our new Sister.

There was much discussion on the upcoming Ohio Department Convention. Our tent is in charge of the opening night Campfire. Discussion was held on food and details of the program to be presented.

President Cathy, passed out pictures of the last two veterans graves that were fixed at the Fairview Cemetery in Galion.

Mystery gift was won by Marilyn Sipes. Refreshments were served by Melanie Baker. Next meeting will be held April 5.
