5:26 a.m.-A domestic dispute in the 100 block of Seventh Avenue was investigated.

8:20 a.m.-A report of an unwanted man urinating at a residence in the 100 block of Harding Way West was investigated.

11:08 a.m.-A man reported being held hostage at the Rainbow Motel, 920 Charles St., but officers found that he was upset because he was not allowed to use the phone to call for a ride.

11:28 a.m.-A parking complaint in the 400 block of Grand Street was investigated.

12:46 p.m.-A report of an assault in the 500 block of South Market Street was investigated.

2:43 p.m.-A non-injury accident was investigated in the Mardo Lane area.

3:09 p.m.-An envelope containing money found in the 200 block of Walker Street was turned over to police.

4:31 p.m.-A report of the theft of a debit card in the 700 block of Maple Heights Drive was investigated.

5:02 p.m.-A minor accident in the Geyers parking lot was investigated. No injuries were reported.

5:50 p.m.-Jay McElhatten was issued a citations for stop sign and sticker violations when the vehicle he was driving was stopped by police on Dawsett Avenue.

5:53 p.m. A resident in the 500 block of Harding Way East reported receiving harassing phone calls.

7:15 p.m.-Natalie Cundiff was issued a citation for speeding when the vehicle she was driving was stopped by police on North Market Street.

10:14 p.m.-A report of loud music in the 500 block of North Union Street was investigated.

11:23 p.m.-A report of an unruly juvenile was investigated in the 200 block of West Atwood Street.

11:42 p.m.-Micah Jones was arrested on a Marion County warrant in the 70 block of Cedargate Court.
