Feb. 16

7:18am Officers delivered a message in the 400 block of Pleasant Lane.

7:37am A subject came on station to speak with an officer regarding a prior reported case.

8:22am A domestic dispute in the 1400 block of Whetstone Street was found to be a verbal dispute.

9:01am A false alarm was received from the 400 block of East Rensselaer Street.

9:29am A Stevens Court resident requested assistance in removing a bird from her residence. The bird was gone upon officer’s arrival.

9:51am Officers assisted Life Support in the 200 block of West Mansfield Street.

11:06am A South Sandusky Avenue resident reported possible identity theft.

11:40am Officers mediated a dispute amongst tenants in the 200 block of West Warren Street.

11:45am Officers investigated a report of suspicious persons at Outhwaite Reservoir.

1:11pm Officers assisted Children’s Services in the 1400 block of Whetstone Street.

1:59pm A verbal domestic dispute in the 1000 block of Maple Street was investigated.

2:27pm A bad check complaint was received.

2:29pm A reported fight on Woodlawn Avenue was unfounded.

3:22pm A traffic warning was issued on Beal Avenue.

4:16pm Officers checked a report of a vehicle blocking an alley on South East Street. The owner was contacted and was moving the vehicle.

4:19pm Officers checked on a person ice fishing at Riley Reservoir.

5:48pm A disturbance was reported in the 400 block of East Lucas Street.

6:35pm A report of a vehicle speeding on Marion Road was investigated. The vehicle was not located.

6:58pm A report of a loose dog bothering another dog was taken on Wingert Street.

9:41pm Officer conducted a traffic stop on South Sandusky Avenue at Rennselaer Street. Mark D. Greene, 20, Galion, was arrested on possession of marijuana. Greene was issued a minor misdemeanor citation and released.

9:50pm Officers assisted Life Support Ambulance personnel in the 500 block of Prospect Street.

10:17pm A false alarm was investigated at Family Video.

10:32pm A disturbance on Washington Square was investigated.

11:22am A report of a possibly intoxicated driver on Lincoln Highway coming into the city was investigated. The vehicle was located and the driver found to be sober and was issued a warning for license plates.

11:59pm Officers assisted a State Trooper in the area of Ohio 4.

Feb. 17

12:09am Officers assisted Bucyrus Fire Department with a structure fire in the 300 block of South East Street.

1:18am Officers spoke to a citizen on station who had some concerns.

2:47am Officers on patrol investigated a reportedly suspicious male in the 300 block of North Sandusky Avenue.

3:13am Officers assisted a Crawford County Deputy in the area of Ohio 4.

Jan. 24

3:20 a.m.-Dominique Benedict, Bucyrus, was arrested for underage consumption and obstruction of justice. He was held until sober then released.

Jan. 31

2:12 a.m.-Justin E. Beecham, Bucyrus, was arrested for disorderly conduct and obstruction of official business. He was later released.

Feb. 7

12:50 a.m.-Robert L. Heefner, Crestline, was arrested for operating a vehicle under the influence and held for court.

2:14 a.m.-Sarah L. Cole, Galion, was arrested for disorderly conduct. She was held until sober then released.
