PANCAKE DINNER SCHEDULED – The First Lutheran Church of Shelby is holding a pancake dinner for members of the community on Feb. 7.

Serving is from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the church social hall.

The menu includes pancakes, sausage, hash browns, coffee and juice.

Donations will be accepted.

VALENTINE’S DINNER PLANNED – The First Lutheran Church of Shelby is also holding a candlelight Valentine’s Day Prime Rib Dinner on Feb. 14.

Music to enhance the special occasion will be provided by Lanny Gooding and Paul Martin. The only seating begins at 4:30 p.m. with dinner served at 5 p.m.

The dinner which will be held in the social hall and be prepared by Chef John Hancock, will include Prime Rib, Baked Potato, Salad, Rolls, Beverage and a Cheesecake dessert.
