10:02am Officers assisted with a vehicle lock out in the 200 block of E. Beal Ave.

10:46am A false alarm was received from the 1100 block of Rosedale.

10:53am A Pleasant Hill Dr. resident reported an attempted break-in.

12:08pm Officers assisted Life Support in the 600 block of E. Lucas St.

12:35pm Officers assisted Ohio Dept. of Youth Services in the area of the Crawford County Justice Center locating a juvenile with an active warrant.

12:41pm Officers assisted with a vehicle lock out in the 100 block of N. Spring St.

1:27pm A false alarm was received from the 500 block of S. Highland Ave.

1:39pm Officers assisted with a vehicle lock out in the 400 block of Sears St.

1:47pm Officers assisted with a vehicle lock out in the 400 block of N. Sandusky Ave.

1:50pm A welfare check was made for a subject in the 500 block of S. Poplar St.

3:09pm A reckless semi driver on N. Sandusky Av. was reported. The vehicle was not located.

4:04pm A parking complaint was made for an abandoned car on private property in the 200 block S. Sandusky

Ave. The owner of the vehicle was located by Wyandot County S.O. and asked to move the vehicle.

4:28pm Officers assisted a motorist locked out of their vehicle at Bucyrus Precision Tech.

4:29pm A Short St. resident reported keys stolen. They were later located.

5:11pm A suspicious vehicle was reported on Schell Av.

5:14pm Officers assisted a motorist at Insta-Clean Car Wash.

6:17pm A disturbance was investigated in the 100 block of W. Liberty St.

7:00pm A parking complaint was investigated in the 200 block of N. Sandusky Av.

7:37pm Officers attempted to serve a warrant.

7:48pm A false alarm was investigated on Crystal Crescent.

8:48pm A parking ticket was issued in the 400 block of W. Mansfield St.

8:57pm Officers checked a report of an open door on a N. Lane St. residence.

9:01pm Officers responded to a shoplifting complaint and Wesley Steele, 19, was arrested in the 100 block of N. Lane St. on charges of theft and underage consumption. He was issued a summons to appear and released.

11:08pm A report of suspicious people in the alleyway off the 500 block of S. Sandusky Avenue was investigated.

11:50pm Officers checked on an open building on Kaler Avenue. The building was checked and secured.

Jan. 23

12:02am Officers spoke to a resident in the 200 block of Inez Street about an ongoing neighborhood dispute.

12:08am A traffic warning was issued in the area of Plants Way and River Street.

1:08am A traffic warning was issued in the area of Whetstone and Auto Avenue.

1:29am Officers checked on a suspicious vehicle in the 100 block of W. Oakwood Avenue.

2:16am A disturbance at Woodbine Apartments was investigated.

6:53am Bucyrus Community Hospital staff requested a welfare check on a patient that left the hospital.

8:35am A false alarm was received from the 200 block of E. Mansfield St.

9:46am A Norton Way resident reported damage to his mailbox overnight.

9:53am Officers assisted a disabled motorist in the area of Plymouth St. and Lane St.

10:37am Officers attempted to make contact with a home owner after the resident’s dog was seen on the roof of the home. They were unable to make contact and the dog went inside through an open window.

11:25am A parking complaint in the 400 block of W. Mansfield St. was investigated. No violation was found.

1:15pm An employee of True Value reported a shoplifter. Officers are investigating.

1:47pm A written warning was issued to a vehicle in the 400 block of W. Mansfield St.

2:15pm A report of loud music in the Pinewood Ct. area was unfounded.

3:09pm A subject that was reportedly walking in the middle of Plymouth St. was not located.

3:17pm A welfare check was requested on a female subject. The female was not located.

4:04pm A Bucyrus Estates resident reported a computer missing and it was determined to be a civil dispute.

4:29pm A report of a loud engine revving in the 1400 block of Woodlawn Ave. was received.

5:04pm A report of a one vehicle crash in the 200 block of S. Highland Ave. was received. Reportedly a Chevy Silverado truck struck a utility pole and left the scene. AEP was notified to check the pole. A caller reported truck was last seen on Tiffin St. northbound on State Route 19.

5:43pm A domestic problem in the 600 block of Beverly Dr. was mediated.

7:52pm Officers assisted a motorist locked out of their vehicle in the 200 block of Penn Ave.

8:58pm A report of an assault in the 500 block of S. Spring St. is under investigation.

9:43pm Officers on patrol investigated 2 reportedly suspicious males in the 200 block of Norton Way.

11:33pm Officers responded to a domestic violence complaint on E. Rensselaer St. Albert Prine, 56, was arrested for domestic violence. He was taken to the Crawford County Justice Center to await a court appearance.

Jan. 24

12:27am Officers on patrol investigated a suspicious vehicle behind Kroger. The owner was found to be feeding the stray cats in the area.

1:41am A resident in the 800 block of Woodlawn Ave. reported receiving harassing messages.

3:02am Officers checked on a vehicle with the lights on at Matthews Chevrolet.

3:10am Officers responded to a disturbance in the 200 block of E. Mary St. where an individual was intoxicated and unresponsive and EMS was responding. Dominique Benedict, 18, was arrested for underage consumption and obstructing official business. He was taken to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held until sober.

4:32am Officers assisted a resident in the 700 block of Sunset Dr. with an unwanted juvenile in her home.

8:55am A false alarm was received from the 400 block of W. Irving. St.

9:10am Officers checked the alley off of the North East side of the square and cleared it of debris.

9:55am Officers assisted with a vehicle lock out in the 1000 block of Whetstone St.

11:23am A disturbance in the 300 block of Blicke St. was investigated.

11:29am A female reported being the victim of a robbery in the 800 block of Wingert St. Officers are investigating.

12:13pm A false alarm was received from the 1100 block of Rosedale Ave.

12:50pm Officers investigated a parking complaint in the 900 block of Sherman St. A parking citation was issued.

1:06pm A private property parking lot bump and paint collision was taken at the YMCA.

1:07pm A report of a vehicle obstructing a driveway in the 1200 block of N. Sandusky Ave. was unfounded.

1:25pm Officers warned a subject on Woodlawn Ave. against loud music.

1:35pm Two parking citations were issued in the 500 block of S. Walnut St.

2:30pm A resident in the 100 block of W. Mansfield St. reported his vehicle window broken out while parked in City Lot #3.

4:53pm Officers assisted a person experiencing mental problems.

5:09pm A non-fatal overdose on W. Mansfield St. is under investigation.

7:22pm A suspicious vehicle was reported on Victoria Dr. The vehicle had run out of gas.

7:31pm Officers assisted a motorist locked out of their vehicle at Walmart.

7:43pm A report of a violation of a protection order was taken at the police department.

7:47pm Officers assisted Life Support Ambulance personnel on Penn Ave.

7:52pm Officers investigated an abandoned vehicle on Keiss Rd. at the Reservoir.

9:50pm Officers attempted to serve a warrant.

12:26am Officers assisted the ER staff at Bucyrus Community Hospital with a disorderly patient.

1:33am Officers on patrol investigated 2 reportedly suspicious males walking in the 400 block of N. Sandusky Ave.

5:39am A traffic warning was given in the 100 block of S. Highland Ave.

5:44am A traffic warning was given in the 600 block of E. Mary St.
